How much does home care cost in Tampa Bay?

What changes the price
- Minimum visit lengths. Short visits are often harder to staff.
- Nights, weekends and holidays.
- Skill. Nursing costs far more than companion care.
- Live-in or round-the-clock care, where rates are often structured differently.
Why an agency costs more than an ad
An agency pays payroll taxes and insurance, runs Level 2 screening, supervises care and covers sick days. If you hire someone directly, those jobs and risks may become yours, including possibly becoming a household employer.
